The Kiwanis Club of Brandon turned 100 years old on February 7,2019. The mayor of the City of Brandon signed a declaration recording the club 100 Years Old. What is Kiwanis?
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.
For over 100 years, the Kiwanis Club of Brandon has been helping kids and their families in the local Brandon community and throughout the world.
The mission of the Kiwanis Club of Brandon is to provide opportunity for service by members to assist youth, seniors and the needy, by raising funds for special projects and by directly implementing these programs. Opportunity is given for personal growth of members through club programs and fellowship.
We not only provide financial support to our community partner organizations, we also provide leadership opportunities for teenagers through our school clubs such as Key Clubs (high school) and Circle K clubs (university). We have fun together in our meetings and service projects and are making a difference in the Calgary community.
